Lamar Jackson Facing Uphill Battle To Play This Weekend
2 years agoIt's not looking good for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's (knee) chances of playing on wild-card weekend this Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to sources. Jackson is fighting an uphill battle to play and has missed the last five games after spraining his left PCL on Dec. 4. He has tried to do some work on his injured knee but just hasn't felt right to this point. Jackson has not practiced at all since getting hurt over a month ago, so even if he were to return against Cincy this weekend, there's a good chance he'd let fantasy managers down. Backup Tyler Huntley (shoulder, wrist) sat out the Week 18 regular season finale to get additional rest, but he'll be the likely starter on Sunday if Jackson is officially ruled out.
