Kyrie Irving Scores 21 Points In Loss
7 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving was one of the few effective Celtics in a tough loss to the Pacers. He scored 21 points and dished five assists, though he contributed to the team’s poor shooting from deep where he shot 2-for-7. Since Irving’s return from a brief injury stint, the Celtics have sandwiched an overtime win with two underwhelming losses. While this game ended close, they trailed by 26 points at one point. If the Celtics are to find any consistency, Irving is going to need to find where he’s most effective. Look for Irving to get hot in the stretch run following the All-Star break.
