Kyrie Irving 2018-19 Player Outlook
Kyrie Irving will look to have an injury free season this upcoming year. With rumors swirling that he may test the open market following this campaign, we can only expect that Irving will look to put together the best season of his career. Irving flirted with a top-10 ranking last season when healthy putting together one of his best seasons to date as he averaged 24.4 points, 5.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds per contest in just 32.3 minutes a night. Irving has averaged just 63 games a season in his career and was on par with that number as he suited up in just 60 games in the 2017-18 season. With the Celtics looking to be at full-strength this season with Gordon Hayward returning, we may see a dip in Irving’s numbers but a possible increase in percentages where Irving holds a lot of value. He is definitely worth a second round pick and if available in the third round for any reason, he is a steal.
