Oft-injured starting pitcher Kyle Zimmer was optioned to the minors by the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Zimmer regularly gets tagged as a top prospect, but he's never been able to stay healthy long enough to actually follow through on that potential. This spring, Zimmer only had one appearance for the team, and that was a short-lived two-thirds of an inning that included multiple walks, an earned run and no strikeouts. Unless a magician with a doctorate waves a wand over Zimmer, fantasy owners can comfortably continue ignoring him for the time being.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
