Kyle Tucker Sparks Cubs Offense with Early Home Run
Kyle Tucker sparked the offense in Tuesday night's 14-1 rout of the Miami Marlins. The 28-year-old went 3-for-4 with a home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday’s victory. Tucker kicked off the scoring with a 393-foot solo home run in the first inning — his 11th of the season. He was one of seven Cubs hitters with multiple hits in the win. Tucker has now raised his OPS to .913 and is slashing .268/.381/.532 through 49 games with Chicago. The Cubs will look to take the series Wednesday in the afternoon rubber match.
