Kyle Tucker Lands On 10-Day Injured List
6 months agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday with a right shin contusion, retroactive to June 4th. Tucker fouled a ball off his leg in Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals and was removed shortly after. The lefty was having an MVP caliber season before the injury, hitting for a .979 OPS. With just a contusion it appears he avoided any major damage. With the Astros having a subpar season, Tucker is also likely to be the subject of many potential trade ideas around the league with ESPN's Jeff Passan already listing the Phillies as a team that would be interested in the 27-year-old. Fantasy managers should keep their eyes on Trey Cabbage and Mauricio Dubon to pick up the extra playing time while Tucker's on the IL.
