The New York Islanders have signed forward Kyle Palmieri to a new four-year, $20 million contract on Wednesday. The 30-year-old, who was acquired via trade from the Devils at the trade deadline last year, picked up 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 51 games in 2020-2021. While he only posted four points (two goals, two assists) with the Isles following the trade, Palmieri had registered at least 24 goals in each of his previous five seasons. The Long Island native will look to build off a fairly strong postseason with the Isles (nine points in 19 games) and could be considered an attractive bounce-back candidate toward the back-end of upcoming fantasy drafts.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
