Kyle Nelson suffered a first-round knockout loss to Steve Garcia on the main card of UFC Vegas 97 on Saturday. Nelson was supposed to take on Calvin Kattar but he was forced out of the bout and Garcia stepped in. Nelson got ahold of Garcia's back just seconds in, but he got reversed. The Canadian was then hurt by heavy ground and pounds, although one elbow did appear to hit the back of his head. After taking a nasty elbow, the ref stopped the fight. Nelson had his three-fight winning streak snapped and is now 4-5-1 in the UFC.--Cole Shelton
