Kyle Manzardo 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Power Potential Available Late In Drafts
Kyle Manzardo had a disappointing rookie season, slashing .234/.282/.421 with five home runs, 15 RBI, and 11 runs in 53 games. He did show some life in September, batting .270 with all five of his home runs in the final month. The former top prospect still has elite power upside, as he showed in Triple-A with 20 homers in 83 games. He produced a respectable 9.5% barrel rate at the major league level, which is encouraging, but he'll need to work on lowering his 26.3% strikeout rate. There is a risk that he platoons and sits against lefties, but if he can break out, there is room for him to stay in the lineup every day. The slugger should also pick up first base eligibility at some point, filling in for Carlos Santana when he needs a break. ATC is projecting him to slash .236/.317/.427 with 17 home runs, 54 RBI, and 52 runs in 444 plate appearances. With an ADP north of 350, he is one of a handful of players with the upside to hit 25 homers that late in drafts.
