Kyle Larson was almost fast enough to win the pole on Saturday in qualifying for the YellaWood 500. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver ended up fourth a mere 0.031 seconds off Aric Almirola's lap of 52.715 seconds. Larson likely wants to survive to Charlotte. It is safe to say the No. 5 car has seen his fair share of incidents the past several years. The one incident-free race he had in 2019 saw him lead 32 laps and finish fourth. There have been engine issues and several accidents. Larson is only two points above the cutline and needs points. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
