The Colorado Rockies have signed starting pitcher Kyle Freeland to a five-year contract worth $64.5 million. The contract also includes a sixth-year player option. The 28-year-old is off to a rough start to the 2022 season. He's made two starts and he's allowed exactly five earned runs in each of them. As a result, he has an ugly 10.00 ERA and 2.00 WHIP on the young season.
