2 years agoThe Kyle Busch era with Richard Childress Racing has arrived early into the 2023 season. Busch earned his first victory at the last two-mile superspeedway race at Auto Club Speedway, as the plans are to replace it with a short track after the property has been sold in recent weeks. Busch took the lead from Ross Chastain on Lap 165 and again on Lap 180 as the cars cycled through green-flag pit stops. Busch has won a race for the 19th straight season, and his 61st victory is the most among active drivers and ninth all-time. "Welcome to RCR, baby," was heard from the No. 8 radio once Busch took the checkered flag. "First of many."--Eric DeWilde
