Kyle Anderson Stuffs Stat Sheet Against The Wizards
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small forward Kyle Anderson finally had a half decent game on Tuesday night. He filled the stat sheet with 11 rebounds, five points, four steals, and three assists in 28 minutes. The rebound and steals numbers are nice, but Anderson still hasn’t scored much and his usage rate is not encouraging. He currently has a usage rate of just 12.3 percent and has the lowest field-goal attempts per-36 minutes of his career. With Mike Conley and Marc Gasol using most of the possessions, Anderson’s role may stay minimal. Hopefully, Anderson can continue to contribute across the board, but unless the Grizzlies get hit with injuries, he'll be borderline waiver wire material. Which is especially disappointing considering his ADP put him at 8th or 9th round value in most drafts. Anderson will look to get his offense going on Friday against the Utah Jazz.
