7 months agoWashington Nationals catcher Kurt Suzuki was taken out of Sunday afternoon's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks after being hit by a pitch in the collarbone area. Suzuki was the victim of a bad hop off the dirt from his pitcher, and it's really too bad he was forced to leave this game. He was hitting 2-for-3 on the day with a three-run homer in the fifth inning before being lifted. On the season, the part-time catcher is hitting .270/.321/.467 with seven homers, 30 RBI, and 15 runs scored. Look for the Washington Nationals to provide more information regarding his injury following today's game.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
