Edmonton Oilers defenseman Kris Russell recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Montreal, recording his second multi-point night of the season. Matthew Benning also had a goal and assist in the game and Darnell Nurse scored as well, so the Oilers d-men provided half of the team's goals. The blueliners had scored just twice this season prior to Tuesday, so it must've been very pleasing for head coach Todd McLellan. Russell finished the game with a plus-three rating, one shot, and two blocks. He's not a consistent offensive threat, but he leads the league in blocked shots with 52 and that's where his fantasy value lies.--Taavi Pailk
