The Seattle Kraken have announced Dan Bylsma as the second head coach in franchise history. He takes the reins from Dave Hakstol after spending the past two seasons working for the Kraken's AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Bylsma, who was last behind a bench as a head coach in the NHL in 2016-17, has a 320-190-55 career record in the league. He guided the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Stanley Cup win during his debut year in 2009 and has also worked for the Buffalo Sabres. Bylsma takes over a team that was one win away from the Conference Final in 2023 but finished the 2023-24 campaign fifth from bottom in the West with a 34-35-13 record.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
