Klay Thompson Good To Go Wednesday
Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (foot) is not on the injury report for Wednesday's play-in contest against the Sacramento Kings. The veteran sharpshooter missed Sunday's regular-season finale against the Memphis Grizzlies with a foot sprain. This was only his third absence since the beginning of February, so Thompson has enjoyed a healthy spell, which is a big plus for the Mavericks. Thompson averaged 14.0 points per game during his first year in Texas. However, his recent output has been inconsistent, as Thompson has finished three of his last five appearances with single-digit points. The Kings limited Thompson to 11.0 points during the regular season, despite his red-hot 46.2 percent shooting from downtown.
