3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins tested positive for COVID-19, according to sources. As an unvaccinated player, he is out for Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. It's a huge blow for the Vikings chances of keeping their playoff hopes alive this week and for fantasy managers that were relying on Cousins in their championship matchups. It's unclear who Minnesota will go with under center between Kellen Mond and Kyle Sloter, but either way, it's a major downgrade for the Vikings entire offense. Expect the Vikings to lean as much as they can on their ground game with running back Dalvin Cook returning, but Cousins being out is a big upgrade for a strong Packers defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
