Kirill Kaprizov Nets Two Power-Play Goals
2 years agoMinnesota Wild left wing Kirill Kaprizov reached the 10-goal plateau in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Ducks, registering a pair of power-play markers. He scored the game-tying goal in the second period and grabbed the team's third goal in the third frame. Kaprizov produced nine shots on goal in total and handed out one hit in 22:44 of ice time with a minus-one rating. The 25-year-old now has three multi-goal games for the season, and he's not far off from averaging a goal a game, with Kaprizov having lit the lamp 10 times in 13 outings. He's also tallied five assists. The Russian winger is on his way to having another special season, but it must be noted that nine of his points have come with the man advantage and Kaprizov is carrying a minus-six rating. He definitely needs to improve his play in even-strength situations.
