Killian Hayes Dealing With A Calf Problem
2 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes exited Wednesday's win over Utah with a calf injury. He was able to log 17 minutes and finished with two points, three rebounds and three assists. The 21-year-old has had a good run in the team lately, so the injury comes at a very bad time for Hayes. His status for Friday's game is currently unknown. Cory Joseph looks set to enter the starting lineup if Hayes isn't able to play, and there will be extra minutes available for Jaden Ivey and Alec Burks. The latter is nicely gaining momentum after missing the start of the season with an injury. Burks has averaged 16.6 points per game in his first seven games of the season, shooting over 44 percent from the field.
