Khalil Herbert In A Committee In Week 16
12 months agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert has struggled to reclaim a significant role in the backfield after missing five games. In Week 15, the 25-year-old rushed six times for just eight yards and caught one pass for four yards. Since returning from injury, Herbert has yet to play more than 43% of the snaps, and that percentage has been decreasing each week. With Roschon Johnson handling most of the receiving work and D'Onta Foreman serving as the preferred early rusher and goal-line back, Herbert will need a standout performance to earn more carries. The Bears face the Cardinals in Week 16, a team allowing the most points per game to running backs this season. Unless Herbert can secure a touchdown, he is unlikely to offer much fantasy value in Week 16.
