1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (illness) didn't start Monday's 6-4 loss to the New York Yankees in the Bronx, but he entered the contest as a pinch-hitter and drew a walk. After pinch-hitting, Marte stayed in the game to play second base for the conclusion of the loss. The 29-year-old has missed the last two games due to a stomach bug, but his appearance as a pinch-hitter on Monday likely means he'll return to action on Tuesday for the start of a series against the Chicago White Sox. If Marte is in the starting lineup on Tuesday, fantasy managers still competing for a championship in the final week of the regular season will want to get him back into their lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
