Ketel Marte Racks Up Three Hits
7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Ketel Marte went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Giants. Marte has struggled to start the season, but this effort brought his average up to .250 through 12 games. He has not been consistent, as six of his 13 hits have come in two games. He has also yet to attempt a stolen base. However, he will continue to hit second in the lineup, and will have plenty of chances to score in front of Paul Goldschmidt and A.J. Pollock. Owners in deep leagues in need of middle infield help should keep tabs on how Marte performs moving forward.
