Kenneth Walker III in Line for Huge Workload in Week 3
Kenneth Walker III looks to be a workhorse running back in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. No. 2 running back Zach Charbonnet (foot) is tagged as doubtful for this week, which means that Walker will likely receive a massive workload. Walker and Charbonnet had been in a near-even backfield split in terms of total touches. The Seahawks have been intentional with the usage of their running backs to keep both of them fresh and healthy. However, with limited running back experience behind Walker, he is going to have to receive the lion's share of touches out of necessity. The Saints have not been lit up by opposing running backs to begin the season, but Walker's volume alone gives him a chance to have a massive game. Walker has already seen a solid target share in the first two games of the season. With a substantial uptick in carries, he should knock on the door of RB1 status in Week 3.
