Washington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz hit his first career double Saturday, clearing the bases against Wil Crowe and the Pittsburgh Pirates in the fourth inning of a 10-7 loss. It was Ruiz's only hit in two at-bats before being hit in the face by a pitch and exiting the game. X-rays came back negative, but Ruiz can be expected to sit out for a few days at least. He could be a deep-league consideration in two-catcher formats for the last few weeks of this season, but he stands to be a better option in keeper and dynasty formats, as he could be a borderline top-10 backstop next season.--Doug Goldring
