Keenan Allen 2021 Outlook: Target Monster Tied to Ascending Quarterback
4 years agoKeenan Allen played 11 full games with Justin Herbert last season. In those 11 games, he averaged 8.5 receptions on 12.2 targets per game. For comparison, Davante Adams averaged 10.6 targets per game, while Stefon Diggs averaged 10.4 targets per game. Allen's ability to consistently get open is second to none in the NFL and now he's tied to one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. He's caught 100 or more balls and totaled 1,195 yards in three of the last four seasons. Allen has been the epitome of consistency at the wide receiver position over the last four seasons and will likely continue that trend in 2021. He's got top-5 upside in PPR formats and top-10 upside in half-PPR formats this season.
