Keelan Cole Placed On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe New York Jets placed wide receiver Keelan Cole on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Cole saw more offensive snaps in the Week 12 win over the Houston Texans, but he was only able to catch two passes for 24 yards with Corey Davis (groin) out of action. Cole will need to be asymptomatic and return two negative tests in order to play in Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles if he tested positive for the virus and is vaccinated. If Cole and Davis are unable to play this weekend, rookie Elijah Moore would once again see heavy targets as the team's No. 1 wideout, with Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios likely rounding out three-receiver sets. Denzel Mims also remains on the COVID-19 list. Cole has 19 catches for 299 yards and no touchdowns on 33 targets in 10 games and hasn't been relevant in standard-sized leagues in 2021.
