Keegan Murray Likely Won't Play Thursday
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray (back) has been downgraded to doubtful and is not expected to play Thursday versus the Spurs. He exited Tuesday's win over Brooklyn with a back issue and was already questionable for the contest. It's been an unfortunate turn of events for the 22-year-old rookie after he had one the best outing of his young career with 21 points against the Warriors last Sunday. Trey Lyles and Chimezie Metu might see more action than usual with Murray missing, although it was actually Terence Davis who ended up benefitting the most from Murray's exit on Tuesday, exploding for 31 points off the bench. There will be a starter's spot available, and it might even be Malik Monk who gets the trust to play a bigger role.
