Keaton Mitchell Could Make Final Roster
1 year agoBaltimore Ravens undrafted rookie running back Keaton Mitchell received a good amount of attention during offseason workouts, and The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec thinks there's an opening for Mitchell on the regular-season roster if he has a big summer during training camp. The 21-year-old was a starter at East Carolina the last two years and rushed for 1,452 yards and 14 touchdowns on 201 carries in his final collegiate season in 2022. He's a bit undersized for a RB at 5-foot-8, but his quickness is what sets him apart, and he could earn a depth role in Baltimore's backfield to open the season behind the likes of J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. If Mitchell does see the field at all this year, it will likely be as a receiving option out of the backfield.
