Karl-Anthony Towns Has Another Monster Game
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns had another exceptional game on Thursday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Towns had 34 points on 11-for-19 shooting, including going a ridiculous 11-for-12 from the charity stripe. He also chipped in with 17 rebounds, three blocks, two steals, two assists and one three-pointer. This marks the seventh straight double-double for Towns, who leads the NBA in that category with 54 on the season. With Jimmy Butler (knee) out for the foreseeable future, Towns will be an invaluable asset to fantasy owners, as he will get all the touches and playing time he can handle. However, he may have a tough matchup next game against defensive stalwart Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz. Owners should expect Towns to be one of the top-six players in fantasy down the stretch.
