The Detroit Red Wings acquired forwards Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin from the Edmonton Oilers Thursday for future considerations. The move helped Edmonton to clear some cap space, with Yamamoto having a year to go on his contract with a $3.1 million cap hit. Kostin is a restricted free agent. Both are relatively young players at 24 years old and should fit in well in a youthful Red Wings squad. Yamamoto is set to challenge for a top-six spot, while Kostin could see increased usage as well after averaging only 10:03 of ice time last season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
