Juwan Johnson Suffers Undisclosed Injury
Juwan Johnson (undisclosed) suffered an undisclosed injury during training camp practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Kellen Moore. The Saints will provide an update on Johnson's injury on Thursday. The Saints are dangerously thin at the tight end position with both Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list, so they will be hoping that Johnson's injury isn't very serious. If he's out for a while, the Saints would be left with rookie Moliki Matavao, Seth Green and Jack Stoll. The 28-year-old Johnson re-signed in New Orleans for three years and $30.75 million after setting career-highs in catches (50), targets (66) and receiving yards (548) in 2024, but he found the end zone only three times. If Johnson's injury isn't serious, he should be the Saints' top pass-catching TE to begin the season, but he shouldn't be considered anything more than a TE2 in fantasy.
