According to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Hornets center Jusuf Nurkic won't make his Hornets debut on Friday versus the San Antonio Spurs. The big man was traded from the Phoenix Suns on Thursday before the NBA Trade Deadline. Nurkic has only played two games in 2025 and averaged 16.0 minutes per game off the bench. He started his first 23 games of the season, producing 8.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 steals in 24.3 minutes per game. If the veteran center steps into an expanded role with Charlotte, he could be a nice fantasy option for the rest of the season. The 30-year-old's next opportunity to play is on Sunday against Detroit.--Andrew Lennox
