Justin Upton Can't Get Season Going
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton will start and hit fourth Tuesday night against the Rangers in Texas. It has been a lost season for the veteran, who has dealt with knee and groin injuries most of the year. Since his return to the lineup, his production has been practically non-existent. He is slashing only .206/.321/.426 in the month of August and has not homered since August 17. It is clear that Upton simply isn't 100% healthy and should be viewed as someone that is not fantasy viable heading down the stretch.
