The Carolina Panthers have released veteran edge rusher Justin Houston. The four-time Pro Bowler has been on the Injured Reserve list since November 4 due to a hamstring injury, but he reportedly is willing to play again this season for a contending team. According to NFL media's Field Yates, teams would only owe Houston $194,000 for the rest of the season if they claimed him off waivers. Although he has just half of a sack this year, it's a low-risk add for a playoff contender. Houston is tied for the 26th-most sacks of all time (112) and posted 9.5 sacks as a Baltimore Raven last year. The 34-year-old could draw interest as a rotational pass rusher.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
