Justin Crawford Hits Home Run No. 3, Nearing MLB Debut
Justin Crawford went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI during their contest against Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday evening. This was Crawford's third long ball of the regular season. This was also his second-straight game tallying multiple hits. Throughout his first 78 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, the No. 48-ranked prospect in the sport has been nothing short of impressive, holding a .331/.414/.438 slash line with 18 doubles, three triples, and 31 stolen bases. He has held a solid 63:44 K:BB and has scored 57 runs. Last summer, Crawford spent most of his time with Double-A, where he posted a similar .331/.380/.455 line. Seeing Crawford continue to show his elite contact skills and speed at the top level of the minor leagues is an excellent sign for his long-term outlook. Given his production, he should be viewed as a top stash candidate going forward.
