Julius Randle Shines In Wednesday's Win
1 year agoNew York Knicks power forward Julius Randle put in an outstanding performance against the Hawks on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 29 points and picking up 10 rebounds with eight assists and one steal. Randle was feeling it right from the off, putting up 14 points in the first quarter. He slowed down a bit after that, but Randle still played a key role in a sweet 116-114 road victory. He finished with 12-for-24 shooting from the field and was 3-for-5 with the three-ball, which must have been a very pleasant sight for fantasy managers who have seen Randle crush their field-goal percentage so far this season. Randle has struggled to shoot efficiently, but he now boasts five consecutive games with 20-plus points, and scoring should come easily again for him Friday against the miserable Wizards.
