Julius Randle Racks Up Career-High 57 Points Monday
2 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Julius Randle was on fire against the Timberwolves on Monday, but his career-high 57 points didn't save the team from another home loss. Minnesota simply didn't have an answer for him and Randle already had 26 points by halftime. He quickly added 26 more points to his tally after the break, setting a new team record for the most points in a quarter. Randle finished with 19-for-29 shooting from the field and hit 8-for-14 from deep, becoming the first Knicks player to reach the 50-point plateau since Carmelo Anthony had a franchise-record 62 points in 2014.
