Julio Rodriguez Continues To Struggle
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in a 3-2 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Sunday. The struggles continue for the reigning AL Rookie of the Year as he has just one hit over his last four contests. He's batting just .148 with a .503 OPS over his last seven contests and is slashing an ugly .204/.280/.376 on the season. He does have seven home runs, 21 RBI, and eight stolen bases but has struck out 57 times to just 17 walks over the M's first 44 games. He's fully capable of turning things around at any point but fantasy managers that used a top-five pick to select the dynamic 22-year-old cannot be happy with the early dividends, or lack thereof.
