JuJu Smith-Schuster Not Expected To Play In Week 12
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster's (knee) injury isn't believed to be a long-term issue, but he's not expected to play in Week 12 against the Bengals, according to a source. On top of the knee issue, Smith-Schuster is also in the concussion protocol. Plan to be without him this weekend. And with Diontae Johnson (concussion) questionable to suit up, the Steelers could be rolling with James Washington, Johnny Holton and Tevin Jones as their three wideouts. Washington would just be a deep league streamer and DFS dart throw if Johnson also sits out, while tight end Vance McDonald could have a big day against Cincy's awful defense. Smith-Schuster's fantasy value took a huge hit when Ben Roethlisberger (elbow) was lost for the year, and it has continued to drop.
