Josue De Paula Gets Back on Track with a Three-Hit Game
Josue De Paula snapped a 4-for-33 (.121) skid on Tuesday by going 3-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run for High-A Great Lakes. Despite the recent downturn, the 20-year-old owns a solid .277/.407/.898 slash line with eight home runs and 11 stolen bases on the season. The .407 OBP is buoyed by a phenomenal 17.5 percent walk rate, walking more than he's struck out this season (34:31). MLB's 33rd-ranked prospect will continue to climb the ladder and could be knocking on the door to the majors in the latter half of next year. With the amount of future offensive potential he can still grow into, managers in dynasty leagues should remain very interested in his progress.
