Ottawa Senators center Josh Norris (shoulder) made a significant step towards returning to the lineup Friday, skating in practice with a regular jersey. At the start of the session, he took the ice with a non-contact jersey, but Norris then ditched the yellow jersey. It's an exciting development, but Norris' return unfortunately isn't imminent, and he is set to sit out a 25th consecutive game Saturday versus Detroit. The 23-year-old managed to skate in only the first five games of the season before getting knocked out of the lineup with a shoulder injury. Norris had a major breakthrough last season with 55 points in 66 games, and he should make a big impact this term as well once he's back in action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
