Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey has been ruled out for the rest of the first-round series against Vegas after he suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's Game 3. He was injured in a collision with Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud and logged just 1:14 of action in the contest. This is an awful blow for the Jets, as Morrissey has played a huge part for the team this season on both ends of the ice, logging 60 assists and 76 points in 78 regular-season outings with 89 hits and 119 blocks. Following Morrissey's exit, Neal Pionk took on a lot of extra shifts and finished with a whopping 41:08 of ice time in a double-overtime game. He tied a franchise record for most points and assists in a playoff game with three helpers, and Pionk appears set to play a massive role for the rest of the way in the series.--Taavi Pailk
