Josh McCown To Have Surgery Next Week
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Josh McCown (hamstring) will undergo surgery on his hamstring next Tuesday, according to sources. The veteran quarterback played the second half of the wild-card loss against the Seahawks on a torn hamstring. Ouch. It's a testament that he stayed in the game in place of a concussed Carson Wentz to complete 18 of 24 passes for 174 yards. He somehow attempted five runs for 23 yards on his bum leg. After stints with the Cardinals, Lions, Raiders, Panthers, Bears, Buccaneers, Browns, Jets and Eagles, McCown is likely to hang up his cleats this offseason after throwing for 17,731 yards, 98 touchdowns and 82 interceptions in his career.
