2 years agoColorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Saturday and the team considers him week-to-week. Manson was hurt against Buffalo on Thursday and a lower-body injury will now rob him of multiple games. Andreas Englund has been called up from the minors to provide cover at the back. Manson has been doing a decent job as a second-pairing defenseman for Colorado, notching six points in 21 games with 46 hits and 23 blocks. Englund will hope to log his fifth NHL game of the campaign Saturday against Boston. He's been fairly anonymous in his previous appearances, tallying one assist with two shots and 14 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
