Josh Jacobs Playing Through Fractured Shoulder
5 years agoOakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs (shoulder) revealed on his social media this week that he's been playing through a fractured right shoulder since getting hurt against the Packers in Week 7. It hasn't appeared to slow the impressive rookie down at all, and he has 1,061 yards on 201 carries in his first year in the NFL. Jacobs didn't practice on Wednesday, but he should be able to play in Week 14 against the Titans if he returns to practice later this week. The 21-year-old has double-digit carries in every game this season and has surpassed 100 yards rushing five times. He doesn't participate much in the passing game, but Jacobs will be, at worst, a high-end RB2 against Tennessee if he's active.
