Josh Giddey Posts A Special Triple-Double
2 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Josh Giddey registered his first triple-double of the season in Sunday's win over the Knicks, joining Wilt Chamberlain as the only other player in NBA history to record triple-doubles in their first two games at the famous Madison Square Garden. Giddey posted 24 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists on superb 10-for-14 shooting from the field. He sank two triples with three attempts and committed three turnovers in 37 minutes. The Australian talent is off to a bit of a slow start to the season, but he missed some time with an injury and Giddey's recent performances show that he has started to get back to his best. He has averaged 22.3 points with 11.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists in his past three outings.
