2 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Josh Giddey had a near miss on a triple-double Friday, completing a 123-119 overtime win against Chicago with 10 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. He also had one block with five turnovers in 38 minutes. Giddey shot an underwhelming 5-for-13 from the field, but his scoring wasn't really needed as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had another 30-point outing. Giddey is a very versatile guy who can rack up a triple-double with ease, although he has managed to get just one in 2022-23. The 20-year-old isn't very far away from averaging one, though, putting up 14.6 points with 7.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists. It's going to be a battle of exciting backcourts on Saturday versus Houston, and it's a great matchup for Giddey and Gilgeous-Alexander, as the Rockets own the third least efficient defense in the league.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
