Josh Bell Playing Outfield For First Time In Years
Josh Bell is playing the outfield on Sunday for the first time in five years, as Juan Soto is again sitting with a knee issue. The Nationals have been prepping Bell to return to the outfield for a month, according to MASNsports.com. Bell, who is in right field and hitting cleanup on Sunday, has come on strong for Washington and fantasy managers after a slow start to the season. He is slashing .250/.315/.478 with 19 home runs and 60 RBI in 324 at-bats on the year. Bell is a solid first-base option in mixed leagues and would become an outfield asset as well if he plays there enough to gain eligibility.
