10/18:Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said second baseman Jose Altuve (knee) wouldn't be playing through his injury if it were the regular season. Altuve is serving as the designated hitter for the third straight game in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series against the Red Sox on Thursday. He's picked it up a bit of late at the plate and is now hitting .267 (8-for-30) with two doubles, one homer, four RBI, three walks and four strikeouts in seven playoff games. His injury should give you a bit more pause when considering whether to spend on him in DFS games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
